Broward felon facing attempted murder charge after Sunrise shooting

A man, identified as 34-year-old Joubert Sevil, has been arrested in Broward County for allegedly attempting to shoot another man. The incident occurred following an argument at the Lauderhill Mall in the early morning. The victim, named as Marvin Eugene, told police that Sevil threatened both Eugene's life and his mother during an argument. Sevil has since been charged with attempted premeditated murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
