Cal Raleigh scratched late from Mariners’ lineup due to mystery affliction

The Seattle Mariners catcher Cal Raleigh was late into the game against Kansas City due to "general soreness", which required imaging. He had been scheduled to bat second and be behind the plate. The team also placed Will Wilson on the 10-day injured list with a left thumb fracture and called up catcher Jhonny Pereda from Triple-A.
