Greek immigrant, Sam Sianis, a successful saloonkeeper and prominent figure in the sports and media worlds, died at the age of 91. His son, William, described him as an "inspirational" figure. The eldest of Sianianis' six children, who have been involved in the business, said he loved the city and its traditions.
