NYPD crossing guard punched by stranger in unprovoked Bronx attack

An unidentified 46-year-old NYPD crossing guard was punched in the chest by a man in a black North Face puffer jacket. The victim was treated at the scene and transported to a local hospital for further treatment. Police have released surveillance footage of the suspect, who is believed to be in his late 20s or early 30s, in hopes of identifying him.
