Brandon Pfaadt managed to limit the Padres to one run in a victory over them, despite a decrease in his groundball rate. Despite allowing five hits, walking one and striking out three, Pfaads has a 1.78 ERA in his last five starts, despite only striking out 13 in 30 1/3. His strikeout rate is higher than his previous two starts. Despite this success, PFAadt may not be a good play with the Dodgers next on the schedule.
