Bryce Hopkins, a senior forward from St. John's, set a record for the NCAA Tournament with six 3-pointers in nine attempts as the fifth-seeded Johnnies advanced to the Sweet 16 with a 67-65 victory over No. 4 Kansas. This marks Hopkins' third consecutive successful 3-pointer in a game. His previous career high was three. St.John's coach Rick Pitino credits Hopkins' success to his team's success. The team's next game will be at Capital One Arena, where they previously hit a season-high 15 3-runs in a win over Georgetown.
