Eddie Murphy has confirmed that his son, Eric Murphy, and Martin Lawrence’s daughter, Jasmin, have welcomed their first baby together, Ari Skye. The announcement was made at the American Film Institute achievement award ceremony. Eddie, who was being honored with the Life Achievement Award, explained that his success as a dad will always trump his professional achievement. He also shared his parenting style, stating that his kids go by the example set they follow. Despite a wide age range, Eddie's youngest and oldest children are almost 30 years apart. He shares Eric Murphy with ex Paulette McNeely, Bria Murphy, Myles Murphy, Shayne Murphy, Zola and Bella Murphy with former wife Nicole Murphy, Christian Murphy, Angel Murphy, as well as Eric Murphy.
