President Donald Trump's claims about prescription drug prices are not accurate, as they make no mathematical sense. His team, including Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Dr. Oz, have been defending these claims, despite numerous fact-checks and online jokes about their accuracy. Since last year, Trump has claimed that he has cut or will cut prescription drug costs by numbers like "500%," "600%,," "1,000%,", "1,"000%, "1"000%," and "1.400%" Despite these claims being challenged, the administration has attempted to portray them as reasonable. Kennedy's comment about a 600% reduction in drug prices was met with mockery and additional incorrect numbers used to support his case.
