At least one person is dead following a shooting at a restaurant near the Austin-Pflugerville line, according to the Austin Police Department. The incident occurred after a disturbance occurred inside the restaurant. Four other people were shot, one in serious condition, and three others with non-life-threatening injuries. The suspects were later found near the 1500 block of Howard Lane. This is the 22nd homicide of 2026 in Austin.
