The move comes after Trump changed the designs of the passes to feature himself alongside George Washington. Oliver argued that this move was part of a trend that shows a tendency towards "slapping his name and face on things," such as the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. The U.S. Department of the Interior opposed stickers as alterations to the passes, which could make them unusable under the "Void if Altered" rules. Oliver's website includes a banner with a fake National Park Service badge reading “The Department of F—king Around” and various stickers.
