MUSIC AWARDS JAPAN 2026 Reveals Entries, Names Kento Nakajima & Mei Hata as Ambassadors

The entry lineup for the MUSIC AWARDS JAPAN 2026, the largest international music awards in Japan, has been announced. Kento Nakajima and Mei Hata have been named as ambassadors for the awards. The awards, set for June 13, have expanded from last year's previous year's edition with 78 categories including Song of the Year and Artist of the Years. The total number of entries was announced at an entry announcement event in Tokyo on March 19. Among the six major categories, Song for the Year received 100 entries, with artists such as Kenshi Yonezu and HANA representing Japan. Additional details were also announced for events including live performances by women from Japan and abroad.
