Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick (D-Fla), who allegedly used millions in improperly paid federal disaster funds to finance her campaign. The full committee is set to hold a hearing when the House returns from a two-week recess in mid-April to determine what sanctions should be recommended. If Cherfilos-McCornick does not resign, she could face a vote to expel her from the House. The core of the alleged violations is $5 million in FEMA funds improperly paid to her family's company.
