Eight Sleep, the company behind the Pod smart mattress cover and sleep tracker, has launched Pregnancy Mode, an AI-powered system that automatically adjusts bed temperature for the duration of pregnancy and postpartum. The system uses the pre-pregnancy temperature baseline, last menstrual period date, and estimated due date to calculate weekly temperature adjustments across all sleep stages. The feature also includes a dedicated Pregnancy Insights card showing weekly biometric summaries of the user's heart rate, respiratory rate, sleep stages and snoring.
