Kansas City woman charged, accused of dragging officer in Lee’s Summit lot

A woman has been charged with dragging an officer into the parking lot of Lee’s Summit, Lee's Summit, and is being investigated in relation to an incident involving two people allegedly stealing from local stores. The incident left one officer in critical condition and resulted in a serious injury to another officer. The police are also investigating a suspected thief who allegedly attempted to steal from a nearby Target with duffel bags, but no officers were hurt. The KANSAS CITY KEARLY team has won their third consecutive game of the season, beating the LA Galaxy 2-1. The RAPHAEL WICKY ERA team also won their first match of the year, scoring their first goal and setting up a celebration at CPKC StadIUM. The city has been dealing with numerous accidents due to the cold weather and high temperatures, including strong winds that caused a significant damage to a tree in PRAIRIE VILLAGE. The Kansas City Police Department has been working to prevent further incidents, including the arrest of a woman accused of stealing from a Target. The National Guard is also investigating the suspected thief, who was taken into custody.
