The Tucson Police Department has solved a cold case homicide that occurred over a decade ago. 79-year-old Leroy Baillie was found dead in his apartment in November 2014. During the investigation, detectives found several unauthorized transactions on his bank accounts. The case was reopened in 2025 after new evidence was discovered. The police found that Larry Kenneth Woods, who was 39 years old at the time, had been seen at Bail's home and was caught with the victim's financial documents. However, police were unable to file charges against him due to his death in 2020.
