‘Hero’ Dog Hangs up His Working Boots After Rescuing Over 100 Koalas

Australian dog named Bear has retired at 11 years old after helping to rescue over 100 Koalas during Australia's Black Summer bushfires. His efforts won hearts and helped raise awareness about the challenges faced by koalas and their plight. Despite his efforts, Bear has been praised for his role as a "conservation champion". He also had a book written about him and even starred in a documentary. However, after years of service, Bear is retiring to enjoy a life of "sunshine, belly rubs, and playing fetch with his forever family".
