Broward Sheriff's Office Sgt. Scott Nida has been arrested for the second time in 2026, accused of battery, grand theft auto and other charges related to a fight with a significant other. This is not the first time Nida, who was previously arrested on domestic violence charges, has been charged with these offences. Nida allegedly asked the victim to print something for him and then demanded to know where she was going. He allegedly jumped into her car and stole it.
