4-Year-Old Rescued By SWAT Officers After Standoff: Chicago Police

A 4-year-old boy was rescued by SWAT officers after a domestic disturbance occurred in the 1800 block of East 95th Street in the Calumet Heights area. The man, who locked himself in a room with the child, was also taken into custody. The boy was taken to Comer Children’s Hospital as a precaution and is in good condition. The incident occurred around 5:30am.
