Donovan Murphy, a Bronx resident, has been convicted of first-degree rape, burglary, and assault in a break-in incident that occurred early in the morning of September 28, 2024. The victim was attacked by a man he did not know and punched her repeatedly, causing a 5-centimeter laceration to her mouth and fracturing her facial bones. After the attack, Murphy used her bank cards to purchase a taxi ride and items at a pharmacy.
