The New York Mets have decided not to include Craig Kimbrel in their bullpen for the regular season, following a 4.50 ERA over six Grapefruit League appearances this spring. With left-handers Bryan Hudson and Richard Lovelady being considered for the last spot in the bullpen, the team is looking for a lengthy arm. Kimbren was informed by the club that he didn't make the Opening Day roster on Saturday, and is now considering his options. He can remain in Port St. Lucie and continue throwing at camp on his minor-league deal.
