The IDF Home Front Command has updated its defense guidelines for southern Israel following Iranian missile strikes in Arad and Dimona, which wound over 100 people. The restrictions will apply in the areas of Lachish, Western Lachic, Western Negev, and the Dead Sea. Schools will remain closed, in line with an emergency Saturday ruling by Education Minister Yoav Kisch to cancel the return to in person learning. Gatherings up to 50 people are permitted, provided there is a shelter nearby if a siren sounds. The updated restrictions will go into effect on Sunday at 6:00 a.m.
