Generalist's new physical robotics AI brings “production-level” success rates

Robotic machine learning company Generalist has introduced a new physical AI system, GEN-1, which it claims can achieve production-level success rates on a range of physical skills. The new system uses wearable pincers to capture micro-movements and visual information as humans perform manual tasks. It is also praised for its ability to respond to disruptions by improvising new moves and connecting ideas from different locations. The company claims it has collected over half a million hours and "petabytes of physical interaction data" to train its physical model.
