The weather will continue to warm up, with temperatures expected to reach high of 86 in Colorado Springs and 88 in Pueblo, and some areas across the Plains expected to see highs of 90 in the coming days. Fire Weather Warnings are in place across much of Southern Colorado due to the heat, coupled with extremely dry conditions and wind gusts. The hottest temperatures of this heat wave could be seen in the history of this century.
