Douglas Anderson, a 45-year-old man from Lincoln, has been sentenced to 45 to 50 years in prison for sexually assaulting two children while their father was in the hospital. According to an arrest affidavit, the children were placed in the care of their cousin on May 1 and a month later, one of them reported the sexual abuse. Anderson initially denied the charges but later accepted a plea deal to amend one and dismiss another.
