Fathom Entertainment CEO Ray Nutt plans to step down and retire later this year. Nutt, who has served as CEO for the past nine years, will assist with the search for his replacement. Fathom Entertainment, a joint venture of AMC Entertainment, Cinemark and Regal, is known for its successful projects, including the faith-based series “The Chosen,” “Coraline” rereleases and an annual slate of classic film revivals.AMC chairman and CEO Adam Aron praised Nutt for strengthening Fathom’s position as the leading force in alternative theatrical experiences and broadening the scope of content available to AMC guests.
