Ginette Kolinka, a 101-year-old survivor of Auschwitz-Birkenau, has become a warrior against antisemitism in France, sharing her firsthand insight into murderous hatred and inhumanity. She credits Steven Spielberg for starting a foundation to collect testimonies from Holocaust survivors after the 1993 release of "Schindler's List" and has since collected more than 60,000 testimonies. Kolinka's books, media appearances, and school visits have been successful. She is the most prominent remaining French survivor of the death camp, with only a few dozen remaining alive.
