Ron Howard Says He Was Feeling 'Nostalgic' So He Slipped into a Vintage Jacket Ahead of His New Documentary

Actor and filmmaker Ron Howard has revealed that he is nostalgic for the time when he wore a vintage USA soccer jacket in a photo posted on Instagram ahead of the premiere of his upcoming documentary, Summer of 94, which details the journey of the 1994 U.S. team. The documentary, directed by Dave LaMattina and Chad Walker and produced by Howard and his producing partner Brian Grazer's Imagine Documentaries, is set to include new interviews and never-before-seen footage taken by players at the time of the '94 World Cup. The team's performance at the World Cup helped to increase interest in the sport and paved the foundation for Major League Soccer. The film will premiere on FOX on May 23.
