The annual conference between theater owners and Hollywood studios, known as CinemaCon, concluded on the last day of presentations. Paramount presented updates on major franchises such as Top Gun, Jackass, Call of Duty, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The biggest news was the first full trailer for Avengers: Doomsday, which was hypeled up by Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, directors Anthony and Joe Russo, and Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige. Disney also showcased the opening scene of The Mandalorian and Grogu, the trailer for the Avengers: Doom, and new footage from Toy Story 5. Paramount's Johnny Depp introduced footage from his upcoming Christmas Carol movie. Studio heads Dana Goldberg and Josh Greenstein also announced another Top Gun installment, with a "script underway" and the project is "reuniting Tom Cruise and Jerry Bruckheimer," the producer of the first two movies.
