Treyhon McCurdy, a 20-year-old man, was shot and killed while on the phone with his mother in West Pullman, Illinois, on Sunday night. The murder comes just months after his family celebrated his birthday and his accomplishments. His last words were "I love you" when he was killed. The family plans to hold a vigil on Saturday. The second victim of the shooting remains unidentified.
