Usher (born Usher Raymond IV) has spoken out about Sean "Diddy" Combs' influence, stating that he believes he has been misrepresented and that his experiences were not what the world has seen. Combs, who is currently serving a 50-month sentence for prostitution-related charges, emphasized his impact as a businessman. He credits Combs with creating a culture that was not just Black or white, but "green." Usher's comments come after Combs’ prison release date was moved up to April 25, 2028 from its original May 2028 release date. In July, Judge Arunanian denied Combs a bond request to be released on bond, citing a pattern of violence that led to him being behind bars.
