The district stretches from West Sacramento to Rocklin and Roseville, with seven candidates including West Sacramento Mayor Martha Guerrero, Sacramento County District Attorney Thien Ho, Rep. Kevin Kiley, former state Sen. Richard Pan, Republican Michael Stansfield, and retired Marine Tyler Vandenberg. Six of the seven candidates appeared on stage to answer questions about their vision for representing the district in Congress. The primary election is June 2 and the top two finishers will advance to the November general election.
