A live possum was discovered hiding in the stuffed animal section of Hobart Airport gift shop on March 18, prompting customers to look twice while shopping. The creature was discovered by multi-site manager at the Lagardere AWPL duty-free store, Liam Bloomfield, and was escorted out of the airport by management. The incident did not cause any disruptions for travellers.
