Brooks Nader Defends 'Baywatch' Influencer Casting

Brooks Nader, an influencer and Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue covergirl, is set to make her TV acting debut in Fox's Baywatch reboot. Despite criticism of her casting, Nader believes that the multi-hyphenate nature of the casting reflects the changing nature of social media. She also highlighted the importance of using her voice for good in the show. The new Baywatch series will feature Stephen Amell, Shay Mitchell, Hassie Harrison, Noah Beck, Jessica Belkin, Thaddeus LaGrone, Livvy Dunne and David Chokachi.
