Organizers of the nationwide ‘No Kings’ protests against President Donald Trump are predicting that the protests could be one of the largest in U.S. history. Over 3,300 events have been registered in all 50 states, with over 9 million people expected to participate. Protests are planned in 11 Louisiana cities, including New Orleans, Alexandria, Baton Rouge, Covington, Lafayette, Lake Charles, Leesville, Rustin, Shreveport and Slidell. The Minnesota Capitol in St. Paul is the national flagship event, with Bruce Springsteen performing "Streets of Minneapolis." The White House has dismissed the protests as the product of "leftist funding networks" with little public support.
