As of early Tuesday afternoon, there are 112 wildfires across Florida, many of which are in various stages of being active, controlled or contained. The largest fire is the Sargent fire, which is 81 percent contained in Baker County. Alachula County declared a local state of emergency in response to multiple wildfires near Gainesville. Amtrak train service disruptions were also reported. Since January, some parts of Florida have received only one-quarter to one-third of their average rainfall.
