The Hennepin County Attorney's Office has launched an online portal to investigate allegations of federal agents' misconduct during Operation Metro Surge in Minnesota. The public can share photos, videos, and descriptions of incidents that may involve unlawful conduct by federal agents. The initiative is part of a new initiative to collect and assess evidence submitted by the public to identify potentially unlawful behavior. The team is currently investigating 17 incidents, including former Border Patrol Commander Greg Bovino's use of a chemical irritant on Minneapolis demonstrators on January 21. The incidents occurred two weeks after an immigration officer shot and killed Renee Nicole Good and another U.S. citizen, Alex Pretti, who was also killed by a federal immigration agent.
