Cheating AI Fruit Videos Are the Latest Trend Taking Over the Internet

A recent trend of videos from the TikTok user @trombonechef, showing anthropomorphic fruit allegedly cheating on their spouses has been gaining popularity online. The videos, often not the most impressive use of AI, often tell expedited stories about betrayal with awkward AI-produced voiceovers. The trend has even inspired accounts dedicated to the content, with one clip garnering over 26 million views alone. Some of the videos have been deemed offensive, although some come across as racist.
