No. 2 Texas Tech softball team swept its doubleheader against No. 12/13 Arizona, winning by scores of 14-6 and 8-0. Kaitlyn Terry and NiJaree Canady were key figures in the victory, with Terry scoring three home runs and adding another in the second game. Samantha Lincoln pitched 2.1 innings to secure the win in game one, allowing just two hits. In game two, Canady earned her 10th win of the season with a two-hit shutout. Mihyia Davis recorded her 300th career hit, becoming the only active player in the country to reach that milestone. The series victory gives Texas Tech coach Gerry Glasco a 60 consecutive conference series.
