Cuyahoga judge sentences human trafficker to life in prison

Darren Lassiter, known as "King Dinero" in Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas, has been sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole in 43 and a half years. Lassitrix, who trafficked and controlled four victims over a decade, used physical and sexual violence to force them into commercial sex acts. The other convicted human trafficker, Andrew Craig, pleaded guilty to charges related to compelling prostitution, promoting prostitution and possessing criminal tools after police arrested him in a prostitution sting. The Northeast Ohio Human Trafficking Task Force investigated both cases.
