An Arizona sheriff's deputy, Travis Reynolds, is accused of kidnapping a woman in custody while on duty and has been fired from the department investigating Nancy Guthrie's disappearance. The Tucson Police Department has arrested Reynolds, a former Pima County Sheriff’s deputy, and charged him with one count of kidnapping for alleged misconduct. Reynolds allegedly made inappropriate remarks about the woman's appearance and suggested they go to a hotel and have sex. An interim complaint alleges that Reynolds shared a vape pen with the handcuffed woman and showed her sexually explicit videos and delayed taking her into the jail while other officers were processing other individuals in custody. The Pima county Sheriff's Department also confirmed Reynolds' employment has been terminated. The alleged victim expressed fear and concern about retaliation due to Reynolds' position as a law enforcement officer.
