Woman flees from police on snowy road: Bainbridge Township police blotter

Police responded to a 911 call after 7 p.m. March 17 about a car being driven erratically on the freeway in snowy conditions, leading to a 4.5-mile chase. The 37-year-old driver, who smelled strongly of an alcoholic beverage, was arrested and transported to the Geauga County jail with a blood alcohol level of.132%. She is charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, speeding, reckless operation, and fleeing and eluding. The woman is also accused of using a barcode from a $100,000 device to scan more expensive items at Walmart multiple times.
