The average gas price in Cincinnati is now above $4, according to AAA, as peace talks between Iran and the United States stall. The White House has rejected Iran's latest peace proposal, which is driving the cost of oil back up. Meanwhile, the Iranian government's failure to reopen the strait of HorMUZ, which blocks oil imports, is causing gas shortages across the country. This comes after the US Supreme Court rejected Iran’s proposal to reopen this strait. The price of oil has also increased, with prices across the U.S. and the world expecting a resolution of the ongoing conflict with Iran.
