Debra OConnell has been promoted as Chairman of Disney Entertainment Television, adding oversight to her direct reports, Craig Erwich, Ayo Davis and Courteney Monroe. OConnell will also oversee ABC Entertainment, Disney Branded Television, Hulu Originals, National Geographic Content, and 20th Television and Television Animation. She will continue to lead ABC Entertainment and Hulu. Erwich will focus on adult programming, while Davis will now report to OConnell. Eric Schrier, most recently President of Disney TV Studios, will now be reporting to Direct to Consumer Co-President Joe Earley as he concentrates on international original content. Sean Cocchia will now dual report OConnell on Content Strategy. Almin Karamehmedovic and Chad Matthews will continue as heads of ABC News and ABC Owned Television Stations.
