‘Euphoria’ Creator Sam Levinson on Losing Angus Cloud, Directing Eric Dane and Having ‘No Plans’ For Season 4

Series creator Sam Levinson has spoken about the challenges of making “Euphoria” Season 3, including losing Angus Cloud to an overdose in 2023, and directing Eric Dane who also died of ALS in February. He revealed that he used the new season to honor Cloud and "keep him alive" through storytelling. Despite speculation that Season 3 could be the show's last, Levinson said he has no plans for a Season 4 and is focused on delivering his best work with Season 3. The series star Zendaya hinted during an appearance on “The Drew Barrymore Show” that the series is set to end with season 3.
