Man found in hidden compartment in SUV gas tank at Mexico border

A smuggling attempt at the California-Mexico border resulted in an arrest and a hospitalization for a Mexican national. U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers found a man hidden in a non-factory compartment in an SUV. The man was transported to hospital for treatment of a burn. The driver was arrested and transported to the Metropolitan Correctional Center in San Diego.
