Apple executive Mike Rockwell, who created the Vision Pro and now oversees efforts to revamp Siri, has considered leaving or reducing his role at the company due to recent leadership changes. Rockwell was tasked with revamping Siri as part of a broader reshuffle after Apple CEO Tim Cook lost confidence in the company's AI efforts. Despite this, Rockwell has had reservations about reporting to his new boss, software chief Craig Federighi, and wants a larger role. He is unlikely to leave his position before the Siri upgrade is complete.
