In an era of AI slop, Sacramento photographers know the sharpest image still comes from the human eye

Sacramento photographers, Elle Jaye and Alyssa Branum, believe that the sharpest image still comes from the human eye. Despite AI imaging technology becoming more user-friendly and accessible, they believe current bots won't come up with ideas like self-exploration. Branum and Jaye believe that while AI can help, it won't be necessary to capture intimate photographs at a wedding or perform live music performances. Jaye's work has been recognized for her ability to understand the psychology of subjects and create a connection with them. Despite acknowledging AI tools, Branum believes that implementing any form of AI in her work is not the end all, be all, and believes that there is a difference between using AI as a tool to bypass the work or make it easier.
