Democrat Meredith Tobitsch has announced her candidacy for the 125th House District in Connecticut, replacing Republican Tom O'Dea who has held the position since 2013. Tobitsch, who has served in New Canaan and was the campaign manager for the Democratic slate in last year's municipal election, has advocated for expanded access to clean energy, women's reproductive freedoms, and stronger schools in the district. The election is set to take place on Nov. 3.
