Amelia Vanderhorst, a woman from Australia, has been convicted of painting googly eyes on the Blue Blob. She was ordered to pay $2,000 ($1,394; £1,040) in compensation and complete 60 hours of community service. The incident occurred on the same night as the unveiling of the sculpture.
