A Solon Fire Department responded to a possible fire at Mr. Tire, 6120 SOM Center Road, on March 19, after a fire was reported. The building's sprinkler system extinguished the fire while firefighters were arriving. An investigation was conducted following the fire, which was confirmed to have been the second fire reported at the business this year. The male employee, 26, of Solon, was charged with two counts of aggravated arson, a first-degree felony. The previous fire occurred at 4:20 p.m. Jan. 22, 2026. Both incidents were minor, but the business was open the next day. The couple, both 41-years-old, were charged with domestic violence after both sustained minor injuries.
